Replying to charges made against
the connections of the $6,000,000
road bonding bill, S. Benson, bead
of the State Highway commlcslon,
has written to Mrs. Elisor Wlgmoro,
a resident of this section, and a
speuker before a recent open meet
ing of tho Mend Trudcs, Labor, and
Kurm Council, at which she declared
the bill to bo Immoral. In his letter
Mr. Ilenson says as follows:
"You are quoted In tho Bond Bul

public speech that I was connected
with the paving trust, and therefore
that my appointment as a member
of the State Highway commission
was immoral. ,
"If you are an honest woman you
will not wish to make or repeat false
