sity glue cluli, heralded as one of
tho best musical organizations ever
turned out at thut Institution, will
appeur Thursday night In a varied
program of solo, concert and feature
numbers, at the Grand theater. Krlc
Bolt, principal of the high school,
und himself a graduate of Wlllum
ette, has made arrangements with
the glee club, according to which all
receipts above actuul expenses, will
go to the high school.
Tho club Is composed of 16 mem
bers, under tho direction of Dr.
Chase, a member of the Royal Guild
of Organists, of London, and rated
as one of the foremost musicians of
the Pacific coast.
Among special feature In Thurs
day night's entertainment will be
the quartette selections by Anderson,
Booth, Chaplur and Bowers, who
have received especially flattering
press notices during the present tour.
Tho program will begin promptly

proved Order of Red Men, were made
last night, when H. H. DeArmond
was elected as Sachem, and O. W.
Foster advanced to the rank of
Prophet. J. A. Donovan, William A.
Bates and A. J. Moon were chosen
as trustees. A committee on by-laws,
consisting of K. I). Gilson, J. A. Don
ovan, It. D. Kelchum, J. A. Riegger
and Ceorge F. Ashby, was appointed.
The Initiatory degree was conferred
on Earle F. Fiske, S. E. Robert and
George K. Cannon.
Installation and degree work will
be the order of the evening tonight
at the Labor Temple, with the nam
ing of appointive officers.
