Sonators; the diplomatic gallery-was
occupied exclusively by families of
members of tho diplomatic corps, and

tho Marine Band was stationed in tho
upper vestibule, and discoursed appro
priate music, ceasing when exorcises

at halfpast twelve, Lafayette Foster,

two Houses to ordnr. A prayer was
