WHITE RLUFFS FERRY.
This Perry has been newly refitted, with a good
boat, careful men to navigate, and evory convenience
for a safe and quick crossing. Wagons and trains crossed
at all times without deluy. Charges moderate. White
Bluffs is the shipping point fur the
Colville and Oknnagon. There are good wagon roads
from Dalles City via this placo to Colville, Okanagon and
Pen d'Orlelle Lakes. The trails from Dalles and Umatilla
via this placo to the Kootenai minos are plain and direct.
