PENDLETON, HERMISTON — The
swimming season is coming to a close as
September draws near, but for the dogs
in the Pendleton area, their fun is just
beginning.
Once the humans fi nd their time in the
pool has come to its yearly end, the Pend-
leton Aquatic Center holds one last event
just for the pups — the annual Doggie Dip
Day.
With the chlorine long gone from the
pool, it’s safe for all dogs to have their fi ll
of fun splashing under the sun. Doggie
Dip Day will take place on Sept. 7, 5-7 p.m.
Admission is $4 per dog.
For humans wanting to make a trip
to the pool, there is still time to cool off
before the end of the season.
