in Prosser, Washington, by his

began working at areas farms and ranches at the age
of 7 and he was an avid hunter during his youth. He
graduated from Prosser High School in the class of
1987. He moved with his grandparents to Boardman,

Helen Frances Meyers Graymer
Helen Frances Meyers Graymer
died on July 20, 2022. She outlived
her friends, family members and
husband. She was not thrilled that
was her last role.
She grew up on a farm in Echo,
and always considered herself a
farm girl, though she never did
like chores. She attended nursing
school at Oregon State University
and the University of Oregon, graduating in 1949. She
was a nurse at Providence Hospital in Portland and St.
Anthony Hospital and provided for her family while
her husband, Harold Graymer, was getting started in
business.
She had many interests and things that made her
happy and she persuaded them with great zest. Helen
was a member of the historical society as well as the
Blue Mountain Doll Club. She had an almost journalistic
zest for research and was an avid reader.
Each of her three kids, their spouses, and grandkids
had a different relationship with her and we're all better
for it.
While her family played their roles trying to interact
with her in the later years, it was a joy to see the people
who took care of her while she lived at home and in
Suttle Care interact with her as a person. She went back
and forth with them at times being grumpy but also her
wit was amazing that would make one laugh out loud.
We all thank you for that.
Graveside services at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 1 at Olney
Cemetery.
Rest in deserved peace.
Arrangements are with Pendleton Pioneer Chapel,
Folsom-Bishop. Online condolences may be sent
to www.pioneerchapel.com.
