Electrical Contractor Services
The Hermiston Cemetery District
is accepting sealed proposals to
provide a comparison of options,
and associated costs, for in-
stalling a new electrical service at
the Hermiston Cemetery.
The purpose of the new service
is to provide power for an irriga-
tion pump, lights, and outlets in a
pump house to be constructed
near the A-line canal. This new
pump house will service an irriga-
tion system for the cemetery ex-
pansion. An additional electrical
access point will be stubbed in
along the underground conduit
run.
Proposal specifications are avail-
able for download from the Her-
miston Cemetery website at
http://hermistoncemetery.org/no-
tices.html.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Land Protection Planning Com-
mission of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reserva-
tion (CTUIR) will hold the following public hearing:
Conditional Use File #CU-22-002 – Applicant, Thomas Smith,
55221 Bingham Road, Pendleton, OR 97810 seeks approval from
the Land Protection Planning Commission to complete a timber har-
vest on 18.4 acres of Umatilla County tax lot 2N35 3600 00700, lo-
cated at 55221 Bingham Road. The proposed harvest would be a
commercial thinning within the taxlot to reduce fire danger to the
home on the property, and improve forest health. The subject prop-
erty is zoned Ag-2, Farm Pasture Zone, where a timber harvest to
remove more than 5,000 board foot gross is listed as a Conditional
Use. Conditional Use approvals are subject to the CTUIR Land De-
velopment Code Chapters 6 and 13.
The hearing will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 beginning at
9:00 a.m. Individuals may attend the meeting in the Walúula and
Wanaqit conference rooms at the Nixyáawii Governance Center, vir-
tually, or by phone. Information on joining the meeting online is avail-
