position of Chief Financial Offi-
cer. Position is located at Pio-
neer Memorial Hospital in
Heppner, OR.
This position is responsible for
the control of District assets and
the preparation of complete and
accurate financial information
records. The CFO directs and
supervises several related
areas. Negotiates, implements,
and monitors all third party
Payor contracts. Also provides
oversight, along with the CEO,
for Willow Creek Valley Assisted
Living Corp (WCVALC) fi-
nances, budgeting, and insur-
ance coverages. The CFO
participates as a member of the
Executive Committee.
Responsibilities include main-
taining appropriate accounting
systems to provide complete,
timely, and accurate financial in-
formation, Developing, imple-
menting, and maintaining
budgeting process including
monitoring and reporting of Dis-
trict and departmental perform-
ance,
Responsible
for
accumulating information and
preparing schedules required
by the District’s Auditors for the
audit and cost report prepara-
tion, Responsible for ensuring
filing of all mandated reports
with the state and other govern-
ment agencies i.e. Quarterly
payroll taxes, 340B State Medi-
caid Reporting, Databank, An-
nual Hospital Surveys, Hospital
Provider Tax, School Based
Health Center, and Community
Benefit.
Position requirements: Bache-
lor’s degree with major in ac-
counting, business, or finance
preferred. Minimum of 5 years
prior Accounting and Manage-
ment experience required. Pro-
ficiency in payroll processing,
accounts payable, accounts re-
ceivable and general ledger ac-
counting is required. Excellent
interpersonal skills to relate ef-
fectively
with
department
heads, providers, administra-
tion, and the public on a contin-
ual basis. Must have the ability
to direct and supervise the ac-
tivities of subordinates. Coordi-
nate all lending needs of the
District. Must be computer liter-
ate and possess the ability to
learn computer applications as
necessary and other office
equipment. Must be bondable.
Starting salary range $116,562
– $131,879K DOQ. Excellent
benefit package, $5,000 sign-
on/relocation bonus. Pre-em-
ployment background check
and drug screen required.
