North St. Songwriters Larry Murante, Olivia Awbrey and Brad Parsons will share original work in a round- robin format that will be open to a live, in-person audience. The show will also be streamed live to WVMA’s YouTube channel and the Music Alliance website, wvmusicalliance.org. Admission is $10. No food or drink service is provided, but the audience is welcome to bring their own. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. ABOUT THE MUSICIANS Murante’s award-winning origi- nal songs feature stories about everyday folks, combining lyrics with an upbeat, joyful folk-rock style. In the past 10 years, he has won more than 18 awards in US and international competitions for songwriting and performance, including Grand Prize Winner of Larry Murante the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. A fi rst- generation musician, she has been performing since 2012 and releasing music since 2014. In 2008 he moved to Portland and entrenched himself in the Americana scene, expanding his roots to rock, bluegrass and country music.
