MONDAY, FEB. 7
8:51 a.m. — A caller asked the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office to
check on the welfare of a woman in Irrigon after a voicemail message
on Feb. 5 that sounded like a woman crying hysterically and a male
yelling in the background.
10:14 a.m. — A caller who had called previously about the same
issue, at Clean Spot, 630 Switzler Ave., Umatilla, reported the same
Chihuahua that has been running loose for weeks is now inside his
building.
10:30 a.m. — A resident on West Ridgeway Avenue, Hermiston,
reported the theft of multiple packages from in front of her house.
4:16 p.m. — A caller who owns a vacant house on Northeast
North Street, Hermiston, reported two males are inside the house
and should not be there.
4:38 p.m. — A caller at Motel 6, 620 S.W. Tutuilla Creek Road,
Pendleton, reported a youth threw a rock and broke his window.
Police took a report.
6:40 p.m. — A woman asked to speak to a Boardman police offi-
cer about someone posting a video of her on Facebook. She said she
had a verbal confrontation with a female earlier in public and that
person is harassing her and her daughter. Law enforcement made
contact and advised her of options.
8:19 p.m. — Pendleton police responded to Blue Mountain Vil-
lage Apartments, 2700 S.W. Goodwin Ave., on a 911 call about a
domestic disturbance and made an arrest.
8:52 p.m. — Police responded to a call reporting a domestic dis-
turbance on Sunshine Lane in Hermiston.
9:04 p.m. — Morrow County sheriff’s deputies responded to
Columbia River Ranch, 70362 Kunze Lane, Boardman, for an intox-
icated woman who was causing a disturbance and trying to fight
employees. Deputies arrested the woman for second-degree disor-
derly conduct.
10:07 p.m. — Pendleton police responded to Oxford Suites, 2400
S.W. Court Place, on a report of a disturbance and made an arrest.
TUESDAY, FEB. 8
12:38 a.m. — A Heppner resident asked for a Morrow County
sheriff’s deputy to contact her because her ex-partner keeps harass-
ing and contacting her. She said he is in Chicago and left a message
threatening to return to Heppner.
1:52 a.m. — Police responded to a report of shots being fired on
East Loop Road in Stanfield. The caller reported someone shooting
a rifle behind the reservoir. Police looked but did not find anyone.
2:27 a.m. — Police responded to a call reporting a domestic dis-
turbance on North Glendening Street, Stanfield.
1:52 p.m. — Pendleton police received a report of the theft of
several items from a property on the 400 block of Northwest 15th
Street. Police took a report.
1:58 p.m. — Police responded to a call about a domestic distur-
bance, on Chuckhole Lane, Milton-Freewater.
3:57 p.m. — Pendleton police responded to the 4200 block of
Southwest Vista Avenue on a 911 report of an assault.
4:39 p.m. — An Irrigon resident reported her ex-husband just
contacted her and she would like the Morrow County Sheriff’s
Office to tell him to stop. A sheriff’s sergeant contacted the man and
advised him not to contact his ex-wife and trespassed him.
5:42 p.m. — Pendleton police responded to High Desert Can-
nabis, 341 S.W. 20th St., for a male who was yelling and spitting at
people.
7:35 p.m. — A 911 caller reported observing suspicious activ-
ity on West Gettman Road, Hermiston, where she said a car drove
by into a field across the street, then into her field and then onto a
neighbor’s trailer.
9:27 p.m. — A resident on Northwest Oregon Avenue, Irrigon,
reported a burglary at her house.
ARRESTS, CITATIONS
Feb. 8
• Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Cory Joe Mullins, 35, for
third-degree assault and on a post-prison supervision sanction.
• Hermiston police arrested Skyler Lee Kendrick, 27, for unautho-
rized entry into a motor vehicle and on three warrants for failure to
appear.
• Stanfield police arrested Juan Everth Cisnero, 26, for fourth-de-
gree assault, menacing and second-degree criminal trespass.
Feb. 9
• Pendleton police arrested Justin Paul Peek, 51, for possession
of a Schedule II controlled substance and felon in possession of a
weapon.

Creagh Brennan Hawes
March 28, 1933 - February 2, 2022
Creagh Hawes, 88, died in Sherwood, Oregon, of
natural causes on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022. Creagh was
born March 28, 1933, in Pendleton, Oregon, to Joseph
Patrick Brennan and Creagh Inge Brennan. She earned
a bachelor's of education from Oregon State Universi-
ty and a master's in education and administration from
University of Oregon.
She married Robert R. Hawes on Aug. 6, 1955, in
Pendleton, and they enjoyed 53 years of marriage.
Creagh was an active member of St. Mary´s Catholic
Church. She was involved in many community organi-
zations, including the board of the Oregon East Sym-
phony. She was a member of the BJ chapter of PEO in
Pendleton and chapter DQ in Corvallis. Because of her
outstanding community service she was named citizen
of the year in 2003 in Pendleton. Her community will
long benefit from her many contributions.
Creagh lived life to the fullest. She was passion-
ate about children and education. She always had
time for her many friends. Her family was the center
of her universe, and her daughters, grandchildren and
great-grandchildren will always remember her hugs,
story time and love. She will be greatly missed, but her
legacy lives on.
Creagh was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and
Creagh Brennan. In addition to her parents, she was
predeceased by her husband, Bob; her brother, Patrick;
and her sister, Gregory. She is survived by her daugh-
ters, Shannon Hawes of Copenhagen Denmark, Creagh
(Mike) Schoen of Sherwood, Oregon, and Shelley (Ca-
sey) Denson of Corvallis, Oregon. Creagh is survived
by five grandchildren, Courtney, Christoffer, Nicholas,
Riley and Meghan, and two great-grandchildren, Rea-
gan and Mack.
Creagh has requested a private family celebration. In
lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the charity of
your choice.

Lynn R. Liebe, 85, passed
away Feb. 5, 2022, at a care fa-
cility in Vancouver, Washington.
She was born to Ray and Pauline
(Boyd) Fossum in Baker City, Ore-
gon. She enjoyed her childhood in
Baker City then moved to Hermis-
ton, Oregon, in her junior year of
high school, graduating in 1954. In
her senior year, she and her tennis
partner placed third in state and she
also participated in Pep Club.
After graduating high school, she was em-
ployed at the U.S. Army Ordnance Depot. About this
time, she met the love of her life, Bill Liebe, and they
married on 4-4-55, April 4, 1955, in Hermiston. They
then moved to Pilot Rock in June 1955, where they
started their life together. She was a homemaker, self-
taught seamstress and loved to crochet afghans and
quilting blankets.
She worked at Bowers Market, First National
Bank, Georgia Pacific and ending her career at United
States Gypsum/International Paper, and after 25 years
retiring as office manager in 1988.
She and Bill enjoyed square dancing, teach-
ing Bill how to play tennis, bridge and in 1970 they
learned how to play golf. During her golf career she
had five holes in one! She and Bill also won the Birch
Creek Invitational Golf Tournament. They spent many
years playing golf with their Canadian group and their
BLT&M friends at Eagle Crest and many other loca-
tions traveling the Northwest. Also, playing bridge
with a group of friends for 25 years. Another hobby
was her yard and flower gardens, earning several yard
of the month awards. Her greatest joy was supporting
her children and grandchildren in school events. Many
a cookies were eaten and shared, afghans crocheted and
many life issues were resolved while traveling to chil-
dren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren events.
She was a member of the Pilot Rock Jaycee's as
a member of the Booster Club, she co-hosted the OSAA
Class 2A State Basketball Tournament Cheerleader lun-
cheons at the Pendleton Country Club, treasurer of the
Community Presbyterian Church, city council for many
years, member of the women's board and the first wom-
an on the men's board for the Pendleton Country Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sis-
ter, Loy Harsin Smith, brothers-in-law, Wayne Harsin,
Jim Smith and great-grandson, Brody Bensel.
She is survived by husband, Bill; daughters,
Loraine (Glenn) Greene, Pilot Rock, Oregon, Brenda
(Kelly) Bensel, Pilot Rock, Oregon; son, Bo (Leonti-
na) Liebe, Camas, Washington; grandchildren, Tyler,
Rachael, Justin, Ryan, Jordan and Parker; great-grand-
children, Matthew, Issac, Drew, Bryce, Maise, Abby,
Bentley and Paisley.

Letitia Mae Dallman
April 2, 1941 - January 24, 2022
Letitia Mae Dallman, 80, of
Pendleton, died Monday, Jan. 24,
2022, in Meridian Idaho. She was
born April 2, 1941, to parents
Charles and Wilma Morgan and
was the oldest of five siblings. Le-
titia leaves behind her husband,
Richard (Dick), of Pendleton,
daughter, Jacqueline, stepsons, Jeff
and Kevin, 13 grandchildren and
seven great-grandchildren. She
was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt
and friend. She will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 12,
2022, at Pendleton Pioneer Chapel, Folsom-Bishop and
there will be a gathering after for family and friends at
Roosters Country Kitchen from noon-2:30 p.m.

Gale McClintock
May 27, 1940 - February 7, 2022
Gale McClintock passed away
Feb. 7, 2022, of chronic lung dis-
ease, with his wife, Pat, at his bed-
side. Born in Condon, Oregon,
May 27, 1940, to Tress and Bonnie
(Walker) McClintock. Gale was the
youngest of three sons.
He was raised in Heppner until
the seventh grade, when the fami-
ly moved to a grass seed farm near
Monmouth, Oregon. He graduated
from Central High School in 1958, and following grad-
uation, joined the U.S. Coast Guard. He married Rose-
anne Ayers in 1960. They had three children, but were
later divorced.
He owned and operated Gale's Appliance on Main
Street in Pendleton from 1962-1982. He was active
in the Pendleton Jaycees for a number of years and
served several terms as a trustee of the Elks Club. He
served two terms on the Pendleton School Board. In
1982, he married Patricia Jones and they soon relocat-
ed to Boardman, Oregon, where he operated Boardman
Appliance and worked as a maintenance supervisor at
Lamb Weston.
They returned to Pendleton in 1995, where they
have owned and managed a number of commercial
properties. He was preceded in death by his parents, his
brother, James, and his son, Drew. He is survived by
Pat, his wife of 40 years; brother, Jay, of Maple Grove,
Minnesota; daughter, Kelly Stubblefield, of Pendleton;
son, Will McClintock, of Hermiston; daughter, Colleen
Wyllie Stewart, of Springfield; son, Bruce Wyllie, of
Seattle; daughter, Kristen Wyllie Sharrard, of Pendle-
ton; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Olney Cemetery
Feb. 11 at 9:30 a.m. The family respectfully asks all in
attendance to wear masks. Online condolences may be

family would appreciate donations to Altrusa’s Feed the
Child program or the Umatilla County Historical So-
