Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant
to the Commissioners per-
forms a variety of complex
clerical, secretarial, and ad-
ministrative tasks in keeping
official records, providing

County Commissioners, and
assisting in the administra-
tion of the standard operating
policies and procedures of
the County. Handles paper-
work that is highly confiden-
tial, complex, and sensitive in
nature. Works with the public
and employees in dealing

information. Organizes and
prepares paperwork, docu-
ments and agendas. Man-
ages multiple calendars and
tasks concurrently. Provides
support to the County Com-
missioners, which includes
taking minutes, creating and
noticing agendas, preparing
briefings and recommenda-
tions for Court meetings, and
assisting in the implemen-
tation of directives, policies,
and major initiatives at the re-
quest of the Commissioners.
Salary and Benefits
Salary is $3,441 - $4,106 per
month depending on experi-

Notice is hereby given that the City of Umatilla Planning Commis-
sion will meet on Tuesday, January 25, 2021 beginning at 6:30
p.m. to consider the following request and will make a recommen-
dation to the city council to approve or deny the applicants’ re-
quest. The Umatilla City Council will then conduct a public hear-
ing as part of its regular agenda on February 1, 2022 in the city
council chambers with the meeting starting at 7:00 p.m. to con-
sider the planning commission’s recommendation on the request
and will make the final decision to approve or deny the request at
that time, or at a later date and time as specified, if the hearing is
continued.
Nobles Street Vacation SV-1-21: The applicant in this matter,
Clyde Nobles, seeks approval of a street vacation for an unde-
veloped 10-foot eastern portion of G Street that is South of 8th
Street. The substantive review standards and procedures are
contained in ORS chapter 271 sections 271.005 through 271.230.
Notice of application, a map of the request area, and copies of the
applicable review standards are being mailed to the applicants,
and all property owners of record within the affected area identi-
fied under ORS 271.080, and other appropriate agencies at least
14 days prior to the first hearing.
Comments and concerns will be heard at the hearings. Written
