AKER CITY — The Baker County Public Library
is bustling with activities these days — off ering
both on-site and take-home options.
AT-HOME OPTIONS
Maker’s Club “take and make” kits are available
twice per month on Wednesdays. These can be
picked up at the front circulation desk.
“Storytime in a Bag” is available on the fi rst of the
month. These kits include a book, craft and activity.
“There are also suggestions of how to further an
at-home storytime, including some videos to look at
or another that is good for dancing to,” said Missy
Grammon, the library’s youth services specialist.
A new service called “Dial-a-Story” allows
patrons to hear a story read aloud by Grammon. To
choose a story, dial 541-406-6660.
