PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that
the Land Protection Planning
Commission (LPPC) of the Con-
federated Tribes of the Umatilla
Indian Reservation will hold the
following public meeting:
Tribal
Transportation
Im-
provement Plan 2022-2026
– The CTUIR Public Works De-
partment and the Tribal Planning
Office are performing the first
update to the Transportation
Improvement Plan since 2017.
This plan is designed to guide
the proposed improvements to
the transportation network on
the Umatilla Indian Reservation
for the next 3-5 years, but can
be amended as often as an-
nually to incorporate changing
community needs. Adoption of
this plan will enable the CTUIR
to use BIA-allocated transpor-
tation planning, construction
and maintenance funds during
the years of 2022 through 2026.
The Public Works Department
will present proposed transpor-
tation improvements to the Land
Protection and Planning Com-
mission for review and invites
the public to provide testimony
virtually at the meeting.
The meeting will be held on
Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at
9:00 a.m. Due to COVID-19
precautions, this meeting will
be held via Microsoft Teams. If
you would like to participate in
the meeting or provide testimo-

lating to this update and addi-
tional information for joining the
meeting are available for review
at the Tribal Planning Office or

regarding the proposed update.
