Fishing Site Maintenance
The position provides the main-
tenance of the 31 Tribal In-Lieu
and Treaty Fishing Access Sites
located along 150 miles of the
Columbia River. The FSMD
crews perform work that involves
a variety of trade practices to
maintain, repair, and improve
existing public facilities. Skills
include painting, plumbing, car-
pentry, masonry, electrical, cus-
todial work and maintaining san-
itation standards in all facilities.
Maintenance workers use hand
and power tools to accomplish

CRITPD-Police Officer
Based in Hood River Oregon,
the CRITFC Police Department
provides 24-hour policing fo-
cused on the 150 mile stretch of
the Columbia River from Bon-
neville to McNary Dams and
adjacent lands by vehicle and
boat. The department ensures
adherence to all treaty fishing
regulations, safety and emer-
gency response, protection of
archeological sites, and full po-
lice services to the 31 tribal fish-
ing sites.
CRITPD-Dispatcher
Dispatchers are based in Hood
River and are the communica-
tion link for all incoming calls to
the police department. General
business calls, calls for assis-
tance, complaints, and general
information for the public are
answered and forwarded by the
dispatcher. The position works
rotating shifts to support the
round the clock police services
provided by the Columbia River
Inter-Tribal Police Department.
All positions are permanent full-
