Data Engineer
The ideal candidate will have
at least one year of successful
experience in architecting and
developing Azure or AWS solu-
tions, have robust debugging
skills and be proficient in at least
one language used for data en-
gineering. The Data Engineer
will assess and identify CRITFC
data that are suitable for migra-
tion on a pilot basis from exist-
ing Azure or AWS cloud tenants.
The incumbent will evaluate and
propose the appropriate tech-
nologies to maintain the data
and provide ongoing data ser-
vices in the cloud with the nec-
essary levels of security, reliabil-
ity, cost, performance and will
provision the necessary tech-
nologies, to ensure that appro-
priate data integrity measures

Fishing Site Maintenance
The position provides the main-
tenance of the 31 Tribal In-Lieu
and Treaty Fishing Access Sites
located along 150 miles of the
Columbia River. The FSMD
crews perform work that involves
a variety of trade practices to
maintain, repair, and improve
existing public facilities. Skills
include painting, plumbing, car-
pentry, masonry, electrical, cus-
todial work and maintaining san-
itation standards in all facilities.
Maintenance workers use hand
and power tools to accomplish

CRITPD-Police Officer
Based in Hood River Oregon,
the CRITFC Police Department
provides 24-hour policing fo-
cused on the 150 mile stretch of
the Columbia River from Bon-
neville to McNary Dams and
adjacent lands by vehicle and
boat. The department ensures
adherence to all treaty fishing
regulations, safety and emer-
gency response, protection of
archeological sites, and full po-
lice services to the 31 tribal fish-
ing sites.
CRITPD-Dispatcher
Dispatchers are based in Hood
River and are the communica-
tion link for all incoming calls to
the police department. General
business calls, calls for assis-
tance, complaints, and general
information for the public are
answered and forwarded by the
dispatcher. The position works
rotating shifts to support the
round the clock police services
provided by the Columbia River
Inter-Tribal Police Department.

opment Code (BDC) §5.4.100.
The variance is for a front yard
setback of 13.6’ due to shape of
the lot on a knuckle turn instead
of the minimum set back of 15’;
the garage is 17.4’ which does
not meet the minimum 20’. The
approval process is governed by
BDC §4.1.500.

The Umatilla County Fire District
#1 Board of Directors will con-
duct a public hearing before the
Local Contract Review Board
at their next regularly sched-
uled board meeting. The intent
of this hearing is to review the
findings and receive public com-
ment. In the Matter of Exemp-
tion Request of Umatilla Coun-
ty Fire District #1 Fire Station
Remodels, Renovations and
Additions FINDINGS OF FACT
ORS 279C.335(1) requires, with
certain exceptions, that all Pub-
lic Improvement contracts be
based on competitive bids and,
under ORS 279C.375, awarded
to the lowest responsive and re-
sponsible bidder.
ORS 279C.335(2) permits the
Local Contract Review Board,
as the Umatilla County Fire Dis-
trict #1 contract review authority,
to grant, under certain condi-
tions, specific exemptions from
the requirement for competitive
bidding upon the approval of
specified findings. OAR 137-
049-0620, division 249 allows
the Local Contract Review
Board to exempt a Public Im-
provement contract from the
requirements to be competitive-
ly bid, provided written findings
supporting the use of non-com-
petitive bid process show com-
pliance with OAR 137-049-0600
to 137 049-0690 and applicable
statutes. The written findings
report is available for review at
the Umatilla County Fire District
#1 prior to the public hearing.
