He will be one of several bulls Tim Bridwell brings to the 2021 Farm-City Pro Rodeo. in fi rst trip to FCPR By ANNIE FOWLER EO Media Group Bridwell Pro Rodeos is the new kid on the block this year at the Farm-City Pro Rodeo, but Tim Bridwell’s stock is anything but rookies. “I felt really blessed when David Bothum asked us to bring stock,” Brid- well said. “We are thankful to get back to work after last year. It made us reas- sess our fi nances and how we do this. It stung. We have to rethink how we do things.” It also was good for the horses and bulls to get back out on the road. “We had trouble with our animals getting too fat laying around doing nothing,” Bridwell said. “We need a few trips to get the kinks out.” Bridwell and his wife Hailey started their rodeo company in 2016 in Red Bluff , California. Bridwell was an up-and-coming bull rider until injuries derailed his dreams. He turned his attention to the stock side of rodeo, and now has a barn full of quality broncs and bulls. His ani- mals work about 25 rodeos a year. They recently worked St. Paul with Korkow Rodeos and Corey & Lange, who also will be at Hermiston. Bridwell Pro Rodeos/ Contributed Photo “We work together at a lot of rodeos,” Bridwell said. “We have a really good, healthy working relationship. We all really like working together and we work together really well. If everyone does their job, it makes it a lot easier.” Among the stock Bridwell will be bringing to the Farm-City Pro Rodeo are bareback horses Girl Crush, who has made four trips to the National Finals Rodeo, Ted (3 NFRs), Mary (3 NFRs), Meat Sweats (2 NFRs) and Scarlet Lady (1 NFR). In the saddle bronc, Momma’s Boy is a four-time NFR horse. He will be joined by Indian Burn (3 NFRs) and Beaver Bend (1 NFR). One lucky bull rider will get a turn on four-time NFR bull Hou’s Bad News. Other bulls in the lineup include Crowd Pleaser (1 NFR) and rising star Ghetto Spread. Have fun, but be safe.
