Notice is hereby given that the City of Umatilla Planning Com-
mission will meet on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, in the city council
chambers starting at 6:30 p.m. to consider the following request
and will make a recommendation to the Umatilla City Council. The
Umatilla City Council will then conduct a public hearing as part of
its agenda on June 1, 2021, in the city council chambers starting
at 7:00 p.m. to consider the Planning Commission’s recommen-
dation.
City of Umatilla Plan Amendment PA-1-21: The applicant, Mon-
te Vista, is requesting to rezone two tax lots totaling 81.17 Acres
from Single-Family Residential (R-1) to Medium-Density Residen-
tial (R-2) for a proposed subdivision application. The proposed
subdivision would create a total of 328 new single-family homes.
If this Rezone is not approved the proposed subdivision would
need to meet the lot size standards of the Single-Family Resi-
dential Zone. The property is tax lots 903 and 904 on Assessors
Map 5N2818.
Written or oral comments may be presented at the hearing or di-
rectly to the Planning Department at City Hall or mailed to PO
Box 130, Umatilla, Oregon 97882. Written comments must be re-
ceived prior to 5:00 p.m. on the date of the hearing or submitted
at the hearing. Comments must address how the application does
or does not comply with the applicable criteria. This application
is subject to the criteria in Section 10-34-4 of the City of Umatilla
Zoning Ordinance and Section 11-2-6 and Chapter 4 of the City of
Umatilla Land Division Ordinance.
A copy of the application and all documents and evidence submit-
ted by or on behalf of the applicant are available for inspection at
City Hall during normal business hours at no cost. A copy of the
staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least seven
days prior to the hearing. Copies will be provided upon request at
reasonable cost.
Failure to raise an issue at the hearing, in person or by letter, or
failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the
decision makers an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes
appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue. Failure of
any person entitled to notice to receive notice shall not invalidate
the City’s action, provided the City can demonstrate notice was
sent.

of Alley Sewer Replacement - College Street to Bruce Street
- 2021. The Work for this Project consists of replacement of ap-
proximately 850 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer, sewer ser-
vices and manholes, associated restoration work in the alley east
of Water Street between College Street and Bruce Street, and
other Work as specified and/or shown on the Drawings.
Sealed Bids for the described Project will be received by the City
