Linda Marie Gandy 57,
of Pendleton, died Monday,
March 8, 2021, at her home.
She was born February 28,
1964, in Hermiston, Oregon,
to Howard and Donna
(LaHue) Reher.
She lived most of her
young life in Hermiston.
Linda helped her dad at the
service station the family
owned on Highway 395.
She later ended up owning
and operating the service
station with her husband
Norman. After selling the
service station and moving
to Pendleton she went on to
work at Wildhorse Casino
until 2014, when she became
disabled.
Linda enjoyed raising
cocker spaniels for many
years. She loved all animals
and wanted her own herd of
goats.
She was a member of the
Bethel Church, where she
loved and enjoyed her church
family. Linda appreciated all
the prayers that were sent up
for her.
Linda and her cousin
Cyndi Smalley enjoyed
watching murder mysteries
together. They had hoped to
write their own story some-
day.
The family would like

George Leo Rachor Sr.,
83, passed away March 31,
2021, at Regency at the Park
in College Place, Wash-
ington, with his daughters
gratefully by his side.
George was born March
1, 1938, in Sisseton, South
Dakota, to Josephine Cath-
erine and Martin Anthony
Rachor. His family moved
to Oregon when he was 13
and settled in the Stanfield
area. He spent the rest of
his life in various parts of
Eastern Oregon, with most
of his adult life residing in
Athena. He married Lola
Jean Harris in Weston in
1957 and they were married
55 years.
George and Lola raised
three children, George,
Jeanie and Cathy. George

three children, as well as
many grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
George was preceded in
death by his parents, Martin
and Josephine; his brothers,
Peter and Melvin; sisters
Betty, Helen and Shirley;
and the love of his life and
wife, Lola Jean.
Spending time with his
family was his greatest joy.
