9:01 a.m. — Police responded to the report of an unautho-
rized entry of a motor vehicle at Irrigon Justice Court on North-
east Third Street.
9:38 a.m. — Police responded to two reports of an assault on
West Hermiston Avenue in Hermiston.
10:19 a.m. — Pendleton police responded to a motor vehicle
accident at Southgate and Interstate 84.
10:33 a.m. — A fight was reported at Homestead Youth Lodge
on Southeast 15th Street in Pendleton.
11:03 a.m. — Theft was reported on East Beech Avenue in
Hermiston.
12:54 p.m. — A hit and run was reported on South Main Street
in Pendleton.
1:28 p.m. — An employee of His Design Thrift Store in Echo
reported their wallet stolen from under the front store counter.
1:45 p.m. — A mountain bike and tools were reported stolen
from a shed on West Cedar Drive in Hermiston.
2:03 p.m. — Police were called to a motor vehicle accident at
Highway 739 and Scaplehorn Road in Umatilla.
2:59 p.m. — Pendleton police were called to a rolling domes-
tic disturbance on I-84 westbound near Pendleton.
3:44 p.m. — A motor vehicle accident was reported on South-
west 13th Street in Pendleton.
6:06 p.m. — A domestic disturbance was reported on East Elm
Avenue in Hermiston.
6:36 p.m. — A citation was issued for drug activity at the Mari-
gold Hotel on Southeast Court Avenue in Pendleton.
6:49 p.m. — A car prowl was reported on Southwest Ninth
Avenue in Hermiston.
7:56 p.m. — A prowler was reported on Southwest 11th Street
in Hermiston.
8:15 p.m. — A prowler was reported at Terwilliger Apartments
on Southwest Fifth Street in Pendleton, but police couldn’t find
a suspect.
8:49 p.m. — Pendleton police received a report of an armed
subject on Northeast Riverside Avenue waving a gun and then
sitting in a car outside a residence.
9:45 p.m. — A report of shots fired was investigated on Naches
Avenue in Umatilla.
10:24 p.m. — A domestic disturbance was reported on North-
west Third Street in Hermiston.
10:55 p.m. — Police responded to a report of shots fired on
Walla Walla Street in Umatilla, but were unable to locate a shooter.
SATURDAY
7:50 a.m. — Theft was reported on Southwest 12th Street in
Hermiston.
8:52 a.m. — A domestic disturbance was reported on South-
west 22nd Street in Pendleton.
10:50 a.m. — Theft was reported on East Ridgeway Avenue in
Hermiston.
11:39 a.m. — Police responded to a report of the unauthorized
use of a motor vehicle at Widner Electric in Milton-Freewater.
12:55 p.m. — A hit and run was reported on East Loop and
North Loop roads in Hermiston.
2:03 p.m. — Oregon State Police responded to a motor vehi-
cle accident on Highway 730 and Bucks Lane in Umatilla. One of
the drivers was seriously injured and was transported to a Rich-
land, Washington, hospital.
3:15 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to a report of a fight
on Southeast Fifth Street.
3:34 p.m. — A hit and run was reported on Southeast Emi-
grant Avenue in Pendleton.
5 p.m. — Boardman fire and ambulance crews and the Mor-
row County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle acci-
dent on Interstate 84 westbound near Boardman.

9:25 p.m. — Hermiston police were called to a motor vehicle
accident on East Hurlburt Avenue.
10:39 p.m. — Police responded to a report of shots fired on
Wagon Wheel Loop and Depot Lane in Irrigon, but were unable
to locate a shooter.

12:18 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a car theft from
Southwest Sixth Street in Pendleton.
12:31 a.m. — An employee at Lamb Weston East Plant in
Boardman was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center in
Hermiston with oil burns “all over his body.”
5:50 a.m. — A hit and run was reported on Southwest Court
Avenue in Pendleton.
9:43 a.m. — A truck caught fire on Powerline Road and Potato
Lane in Umatilla.
1:23 p.m. — A motor vehicle accident was reported at Circle K
on Southeast Nye Avenue in Pendleton.
3:28 p.m. — Kind Leaf on Southwest Court Avenue in Pendle-
ton reported a scam.
4:41 p.m. — A car prowl was reported on Southwest Hailey
Avenue in Pendleton.
5:50 p.m. — Fraud/forgery was reported on West Oregon
Lane in Irrigon.
9:10 p.m. — Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported
on Powerline Road, Hermiston.
10:55 p.m. — Police responded to a report of shots fired on
Walla Walla Street in Umatilla, but were unable to locate a shooter.
ARRESTS, CITATIONS
Friday
•The Oregon State Police arrested Robert Squires, 42, on mis-
demeanor counts of driving under the influence of intoxicants
and reckless driving.
•The Oregon State Police arrested Raul Alejandro Abrego, 35,
of Portland, on a felony charge of possession of methamphet-
amine and on a fugitive warrant.
•Umatilla Tribal police arrested Alex Valdiaviez, 38, on a felony
charge of hindering prosecution and a misdemeanor charge of
giving false information to police.
•The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ricky Lee Ellison,
33, on felony counts of first degree theft, possession of metham-
phetamine, delivery of methamphetamine, third-degree aggra-
vated assault, possessing a weapon as a felon and altering a
firearm’s identification number, and misdemeanor counts of
fourth-degree aggravated assault and the unlawful possession
of a firearm.
Saturday
•Boardman police arrested Carlos Antonio Ramirez on a felony
charge of second-degree burglary and misdemeanor counts of
second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft.
•Pendleton police arrested Mathew Loring Murray, 29, on a
felony charge of aggravated fourth-degree assault and misde-
meanor charges of interfering with police and resisting arrest.
Sunday
•The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Travis Loren
Roberts, 41, on a felony charge of first-degree theft.
•The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Richard Anthony
Smith, 22, on felony charges of unauthorized use of vehicle and
possession of a stolen vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of giving
false information to police felony and misdemeanor failure to
appear, contempt of court, and on a fugitive warrant.
•Umatilla Tribal Police arrested Tana Nicole Halligan, 25, on fel-
ony charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of a
stolen vehicle, and two misdemeanor failure to appear charges.
Monday
•The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Roy Stuart Keller,
45, on felony strangulation (aggravated assault) and aggravated
fourth-degree assault.

Feb. 12, at 1 p.m., with Mass of Christian Burial following at
1:30 p.m., at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Hermiston.
