Tune in to ESPN for live coverage of the 86-year-old rivalry in action. After starting the season with two losses under veteran quarterback Eli Manning, the Giants started rookie Daniel Jones in Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jones took full advantage of his debut, throwing for 336 yards and two touchdowns along with rushing for 28 yards and two touchdowns. His performance legitimized the nickname “Danny Dimes” (a reference to Jones’ ability to put the ball on a dime — a testament to his accuracy) that he earned in the pre-sea- son. Post-season aspirations were on the rise when Jones led the Giants to a 24-3 victory over the divisional rival Washington Redskins at home in Week 4, but the team derailed and went on a six-game losing streak before entering its Week 11 bye. Super Bowl champions just two seasons ago, the Eagles are currently fighting for a wild card spot against the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East. The Eagles have been un- characteristically inconsistent this season, dropping games to weaker opponents, such as the Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions, but beating stronger opponents, such as the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. The Eagles’ final four regular season games are against divisional opponents, starting and ending with the Giants. If the Eagles are destined for the playoffs this season, it will be determined in this final line of games. In 174 total meetings, the all-time series record between the Eagles and Giants is tied 86-86-2 (including the post-season at 2-2).
