Steelers take on Titans in pre-season action

T
he 2019 NFL regular season is set to
kick off on Thursday, Sept. 5, when the
Green Bay Packers take on the Chicago
Bears. For now, there are two weeks left
of pre-season action, and on Sunday, Aug.
25, the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the
Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium. Tune
in to NBC for live coverage of the game.
Both the Steelers and the Titans are
entering the 2019 season with a number
of question marks surrounding their start-
ing rosters. The Steelers are set to start
their first season without seven-time Pro

Bowler Antonio Brown and star running
back Le’Veon Bell. Meanwhile, the Titans
are timidly entering 2019 with Marcus
Mariota under center following a season
of career lows, including 2,528 passing
yards for 11 touchdowns and eight in-
terceptions. The former Heisman trophy
winner is sure to feel the pressure this
season with the arrival of Ryan Tannehill
as his backup.
Despite a strong 7-2-1 start, the Steel-
ers endured a disastrous 2018 season
that saw the team miss the playoffs for
the first time since 2013. The collapse was
a result of tension within the franchise,
which was evident early on when Bell

and Brown’s dissatisfaction with his role
