GENERAL INFORMATION: A limited scope, non-structural remodel of the core area of the administrative wing of this existing single-story/partial basement City Hall Facility. The Remodel Project includes selective demolition, certain new full and partial height walls, a new relite glass system in certain areas, relocated & new built-in casework & work surfaces, base, trim, and new & repaired flooring, door, interior storefronts & transaction window, trim and countertops/work surfaces, as well as certain new electrical work and ceiling modifications and finish painting in all project areas. Certain ADA upgrades are incorporated, but the project does not add any area to the building, does not change the occupant load nor classification, has no plumbing, makes only minor changes to electrical & mechanical HVAC, and does not change the emergency egress requirements nor paths. Although the project area will be vacated by the owner during the project, the building itself will be continuously occupied for the duration. Electrical, including adding outlets and possibly some switches, and possible minor mechanical HVAC adjustments for new layouts, are design-build by the selected contractor. There is no plumbing work as part of the project.
