WORKSHOPS HAPPY HOUR: JUGGLING WITH GREG with Greg Schulberg WEDNESDAY, 6:00 – 7:30 PM Dec. 4 - FREE Whether you’re interested in entertaining yourself or others, juggling is just a fun skill to have, and you can master a basic 3-ball pattern quickly. No experience or coordination necessary. We’ll have additional props and instruction for intermediate or advanced jugglers too! Free. but registration required so we can make sure we have enough juggling sets! (21 and over.) HAPPY HOUR: MAKE YOUR OWN EARRING OR JEWELRY RACK with Melissa Weston WEDNESDAY, 6:00 – 8:00 PM December 11 - FREE knots as well as the tips and tricks needed to continue new and different macramé projects like key chains, plant hangers, and more! WREATH BUILDING WORKSHOP with Melissa Weston SATURDAY, NOON – 2:30 PM Nov. 16 Start off your holiday season by learning to create a fresh and beautiful wreath adorned with festive accessories. This is a perfect excuse for getting together with friends and creating some fun memories, while adding to your holiday décor for your front door, home, or as a gift. $20 MEMBERS / $25 NON-MEMBERS + $15 MATERIAL FEE This is a fun opportunity to custom design a rack for organizing your jewelry. HAPPY HOUR: MARGARITAS & MACRAMÉ with Katie Payne Hall THURSDAY, 6:00 – 8:00 PM December 12 - FREE Sip on a margarita while exploring the art of macramé. You’ll learn the basic WOOD FINISHING with Jeff Blackwood WEDNESDAY, 6:00 – 8:00 PM Nov. 20 In this two-hour class, we’ll discuss the characteristics of common wood species and appropriate finish options and techniques. Supplies will be provided, and students will get some hands-on experiences. $20 MEMBERS / $25 NON-MEMBERS PRESENTS IN A PINCH: NEEDLE FELTING FOR THE HOLIDAYS with Chantell Reid SATURDAY, 4:00 – 6:00 PM Dec. 7 Whether you want to create gnomes, ornaments, and holiday décor, small gifts, or something just for you, this is one workshop you won’t want to miss. Students will receive a personal needle- felting set, which includes your block, needles, and wool. Never needle-felted? No worries, all are welcome! $20 MEMBERS / $25 NON-MEMBERS PHOTO TRANSFER TECHNIQUES USING GEL MEDIUM with Nika Blasser Saturday & Sunday, 1:00 – 4:00 PM BOTH DAYS Oct. 12 & 13 Create a work of art from magazines clippings, copies of family photos, or any image that inspires you. In the gel transfer technique, the finished works have a slightly distressed or vintage look to them and the finished artwork is both beautiful and durable. You supply the images, and we’ll supply the tools and materials to get you going. $45 MEMBERS / $50 NON-MEMBERS + $20 MATERIALS FEE (includes two art boards, gel medium, brushes, and more.)
