Experience the classical art of glass
mosaic in this 4-session class. Celia
will introduce students to the direct
mosaic method using traditional
mosaic design elements. Learn glass
cutting techniques, gluing and grouting
applications, along with tips and tricks
on designing or modifying patterns.
Students will work with a 9 X 12
platform. Little to no experience, makes
no difference! All are welcomed!
$75 MEMBERS / $80 NON-MEMBERS
This is an inter-generational class
that will teach you the basics of
juggling. Kids 6-12 should have
a parent or pal in tow so you can
learn together. No experience
or coordination is necessary and
all skill levels are welcome. For
beginners we’ll cover the basics
of 3-ball toss juggling, starting
with the proper technique for 1
and 2 balls, and each participant
will receive a set of juggling balls
of their own. Practice between
sessions will help build skills.
In the second session Greg will
work with students individually
on improving their 3-ball
pattern, or learning tricks and
how to juggle more or different
objects.

TUESDAYS, 6:30 – 8:00 PM
Nov. 5 – Dec. 10 (five sessions)
*No class Thanksgiving week
We will start with a photo session
using high-contrast lighting to create a
dramatic black and white self-portrait.
Using this photo, we’ll break down light
and shadow into several distinct values,
essentially setting up something like
a paint-by-numbers to “map” light and
dark areas across the planes of the face.
Your finished painting will be a striking
portrait with a cool graphic art quality,
and you will understand light in a whole
new way.
