The Columbia Improvement District invites Bids from qualified
Suppliers for Pipeline Procurement - 2019. The procurement
package includes, but is not limited to, supplying approximate-
ly 38,200 feet of 72-inch diameter irrigation pipe, approximate-
ly 1,130 feet of 72-inch diameter carrier pipe, and all required
fittings, elbows, appurtenances, and other items shown on the
Drawings and as specified. Delivery of the materials supplied as
part of this procurement package must be coordinated with the
Construction Contractor who will be installing the materials under
a separate agreement.

FARM MECHANIC:
Full year position to work on farm equipment based at Paterson Ferry Road shop, Irrigon.
Provide maintenance, diagnose and repair problems, and build and fabricate farm related equipment.
Electrical, hydraulic, GPS, welding and fabrication experience required. Must provide own tools.
HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECH:
Full year position to work on heavy equipment based at Westland Road shop, Hermiston. Provide
maintenance and repairs to front-end loaders, telehandlers, trucks and other ag related equipment.
Diesel engines, electrical, and hydraulic experience required.
Must provide own tools.
ASSISTANT FARM MANAGER:
Full year position to maximize crop performance. Responsibilities include soil sampling, moisture
monitoring, chemigation, irrigation scheduling, spraying, inspecting fields, and various other farming
related duties. Previous farm experience required

EQUIPMENT OPERATOR:
Operate a variety of farm equipment based out of Paterson Ferry Road shop, Irrigon.
Provide routine maintenance and inspection of equipment. Must have of good understanding of current
ag technologies, including GPS, Precision Ag Equipment, and computers.
Mechanical and welding skills helpful for basic and complex repairs.
CDL TRUCK DRIVER:
Full year position to operate company owned semi-truck/trailer combination. Based at Westland Road
Shop; will complete regional hauls.
Must have CDL A license with doubles/triples, hazardous materials and tanker endorsements with prior
experience.
Must have current TWIC card and medical record card.
PAYROLL AND BENEFITS ASSISTANT:
Full year position to work with HR Manager and company Controller to administer payroll and benefits
programs for multiple companies based out of Westland Road office, Hermiston.
Assist in documentation and orientation of new and rehired employees.
A good understanding of state and federal labor laws helpful, previous HR experience helpful. Must have
strong computer skills for Excel, Word, and database management. Must be detail oriented to reconcile
GL accounts and reports.
FARM OFFICE COORDINATOR:
Full year position to work with all farm and department managers to ensure documentation is completed
timely and accurately for all aspects of farming operation based at Paterson Ferry Road shop, Irrigon.
Must have strong computer skills for excel, word, and database management. A good understanding of
farm operations and equipment is helpful.
All positions require the employee pass a pre-employment drug test, have a valid state issued
driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, have reliable transportation to central work site,
and be committed to working safely. Competitive wages and work schedules vary by position.
