TUESDAY
7:36 a.m. — The Pendleton Fire Department responded
to Indian Hills Village Apartments, 1335 S.W. Second St., for a
boiler that was smoking.
7:39 a.m. — A Boardman resident on Northeast Boardman
Avenue reported a prowler looked into her car windows. She
also said she spoke to the person, a female, who claimed her sis-
ter lives next door, but that is not true. The caller asked the Mor-
row County Sheriff’s Office to have a deputy contact her.
9:02 a.m. — A 911 caller reported the theft of their vehicle
from outside the Umatilla County Courthouse, 216 S.E. Fourth
St., Pendleton.
9:26 a.m. — A caller complained to Hermiston police about
“a guy” who keeps walking near his vehicle and he doesn’t like
it.
10:50 a.m. — Hermiston police received a call about people
unloading things from the back of a tractor-tailer on Southwest
11th Street and West Sunland Avenue and putting them into
a car.
12 p.m. — A Umatilla resident reported she thought some-
one stole a package from her home on Columbia Boulevard but
the postal worker told her it was delivered to the wrong house.
1:11 p.m. — A caller told Umatilla police strange activity is
again going at at a site on Cliff Street and she wants “something
done about the situation. “
2:22 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to the 800 block of
Kennedy Avenue for an assault.
2:35 p.m. — Stanfield police cracked down on code enforce-
ment, checking on 30 sites in about a 35 minute span, from
homes with overgrown weeds to places with junker vehicles in
yards and garbage in the street.
5:24 p.m. — Hermiston police took a report for an assault on
the 1200 block of West Hartley Avenue.
5:49 p.m. — A resident on Southwest Runnion Drive, Pend-
leton, reported seeing two youth breaking into the house.
9:09 p.m. — A 911 caller reported a burglary on Vetter Lane,
Hermiston, but this turned out to be a civil problem not a crim-
inal matter.
9:19 p.m. — The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded
to a report of people “screaming and ranting and making igno-
rant statements” outside a home on Short Road, Irrigon. The
caller also said they shined flashlight into home. Deputies
found neighbors having a dispute but it was not physical and
no one broke the law.

Tuesday
•Hermiston police arrested Devin Lindsey Christensen, 27, of
Irrigon, for felony attempt to commit a crime, second-degree
trespass and a misdemeanor probation violation.
•Umatilla Tribal Police arrested Deanna Louise Martinez, 33,
of Hermiston, for dangerous drugs, criminal activity in drugs
and on a felony parole violation.
•Umatilla Tribal Police arrested Shawna Jo Ryder, 47, of Pend-
leton, for dangerous drugs and criminal activity in drugs.
•Pendleton police arrested Justin Michael Williams, 27, of
Pilot Rock, for misdemeanor domestic violence assault.
•Pendleton police arrested Hannah Lauren Lifferth, 22, of
Pendleton, for unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Wednesday
•Hermiston police arrested Michael Ray Scott Garcia, 37, of
Hermiston, for felony methamphetamine possession and on
felony parole violations.
