    WINTER CLASSES
KATE BRIZENDINE
COORDINATOR OF EDUCATION AND OUTREACH
Kate B. joined the PCA team in August, and her first day was also the first day
of Rock & Roll Camp.
“Seeing all those teens from different backgrounds come together around art
and music made it clear to me right away what PCA was all about.”
Art has always been a part of Kate B.’s life. Growing up, her mom’s friends
were all artists, so she and her sister were always going to galleries and
museums.
“Most of all, I appreciate what art does for the mind and spirit,” she says.
“I want to make this a place where everyone feels free to learn, grow and
express themselves.”
KATE PECK
OUTREACH MANAGER AND ED. ASSISTANT
Kate P. has spent the last 20 years working with young children. From her
many years at Head Start, to managing Family Day at the St. Anthony’s
WinterFest (formerly Festival of Trees) to organizing kids’ activities at the
Pendleton Farmer’s market, to her seven years at PCA, her life if filled with
thinking about how to engage families through art.

Kate is an artist in her own right – her Day of the Dead collage piece was used
to promote the Gala Auction.
