White, 1st year.
2017 season: 15-13 overall, 3-5
in Columbia Basin Confer-
ence (4th); Did not make
playoffs.
Returning starters: Bryce Thul,

sr.; Emma Olson, L, jr.; Ellie Scheibner, S, jr.;
Jesse Manning, OH, soph.
Impact newcomers: Trinity Hearn, OH, jr.; Ken-

Team outlook: Weston-McEwen missed out
on the state playoffs for the first time in
more than 10 years last season — just one
year removed from a state title — but it
hopes to make that a one-off. Seven key
players are back for the TigerScots in a
new-look Blue Mountain Conference that
now features Grant Union, Union and
Enterprise along with Heppner, Pilot Rock
and Stanfield.
