ment of CTUIR governmental
operations as directed by the
CTUIR governing, the Board
of Trustees. The Executive
Director is responsible for
ensuring that the Tribal man-
agement, operational, fiscal,
personnel and legal systems
work effectively and efficient-
ly to deliver governmental
services. The Executive Di-
rector has the authority and
responsibility to implement
the legislative actions and
annual budgets as approved
and directed by the Board.
The CTUIR government em-
ploys approximately 500 per-
sons with an annual budget of
approximately $240 million.

The City of Pendleton is ac-
cepting applications for tem-
porary seasonal laborers
to work in the Public Works
Department. Position per-
forms labor for the City of
Pendleton. Duties may in-
clude: shoveling rock and
mud, moving irrigation line,
painting, trimming brush, and
other general maintenance
tasks. Must be able to work
outdoors in varying weather
conditions and operate hand
and limited power tools. Po-
sition requires walking, bend-
ing, stooping, and lifting.
Requires valid driver’s license
and ability to pass criminal
background check.
Pay is $11.00 per hour, no
benefits.

by mowing, collecting trash,
snow removal, etc.

PRODUCTION OPERATOR
Purpose: This position is re-
sponsible for effectively oper-
ating the plant equipment to
ensure the quality and quan-
tity of ethanol fuel production
is optimized.
Environment: Pacific Eth-
anol is the leading producer
and marketer of low-carbon
renewable fuels in the west-
ern United States. With the
addition of four Midwestern
ethanol plants in July of 2015,
we have expanded our op-
erations and sales footprint,
more than doubling our scale,
entering new markets, and
expanding our mission to be-
come the industry leader in
the production and market-
ing of low-carbon renewable
fuels.
Essential Duties and Re-
sponsibilities:
Operates
equipment to achieve opti-
mal performance; Adjusts
equipment settings to ensure
the ethanol produced meets
quality and quantity expec-
tations; Inspects and main-
tains the equipment to ensure
proper processing; Inspects
the quality and of the product
and documents the result at
certain intervals of the pro-
duction process; Completes
daily shift production logs;
Coordinates with lab techni-
cians to ensure product qual-
ity; Investigates monitors and
reports deviations from pro-
duction standards.
Qualifications: High School
diploma or equivalency. Ex-
cellent computer skills; famil-
iarity with operation software.
Excellent hand-eye coordina-
tion; Safety cautious. Experi-
ence working with lab testers
and plant equipment. Ability
to follow directions, and work
well with little supervision.
Excellent written and oral
communication skills. Abil-
ity to safely and effectively
coordinate multiple projects/
tasks. Bilingual skills are
(English/Spanish) preferred.
Must have the ability to work
different shifts and overtime.
This includes the possibility
of short-term and long-term
shift reassignment to match
the needs of the business.
Wages: $17- $18 per hour
