The City of Hermiston, Oregon, invites Bids for the construction of
Newport Park Roadway Improvements - 2018. The Work shall in-
clude reconstructing the asphalt pavement and constructing curb
and gutter, storm drain, etc., around Newport Park on Newport
Avenue, 5th Street, and 6th Street. The project will consist of the
following components:
1. Demolition of existing asphalt and portions of existing concrete
and excavation to subgrade
2. Street improvements, including approximately 11,360 square
yards of aggregate base,
5,330 square yards of asphalt pavement, and 1,800 linear feet of
concrete curb and gutter
3. Installation of approximately 220 lineal feet of storm drain pipe,
four catch basins, and one concrete bubble-up structure
Sealed Bids for the described Project will be received by City of
Hermiston, Oregon, at the City of Hermiston City Hall, 180 N.E.
2nd Street, Hermiston, Oregon 97838, until 2:00 p.m., local time,
March 8, 2018, at which time the Bids received will be publicly
