FRIDAY 12:08 a.m. - Milton-Freewater police and the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office responded to North Elizabeth Street on a report of gunshots. ARRESTS, CITATIONS Thursday •Hermiston police arrested Ronnie Simone Sampson, 20, of 512 N.W. 12th St., Pendleton, for third-degree theft, second-degree forgery, and identity theft. •Milton-Freewater police arrested Michael Anthony Pena, 39, of Milton- Freewater, on a warrant and for possession of methamphetamine and the domestic violence crime of second-degree assault. •Stanfield police arrested Mitchell Adam Swift, 25, of Hermiston, for domestic violence charges of fourth-degree assault and strangulation. Friday •Pendleton police arrested Robert James Van Pelt, 43, and Delbert Edwin Ferraris, 30, both of 72490 Billy Road, Pendleton, for felony possession of methamphetamine. Van Pelt also faces charges of contempt of court and supplying contraband, and police also arrested Ferraris for carrying concealed weapons and on warrants for failure to appear.
