owder Valley put together a near-perfect
season in the Old Oregon League last
winter and it was enough to earn
themselves the district crown over Joseph.
Nixyaawii is set up well to be the league-leader
this year. The Golden Eagles were 12-2 in the
OOL in the regular season, but were upset by
Echo in the district tournament. Nixyaawii
returns defending OOL Player of the Year Mick
Schimmel and Deven Barkley for what will be a
solid 1-2 punch.
