Guaranteed snow
days in Hermiston!
HERMISTON — No snow from
above? No problem: Hermiston
Parks & Rec will make it for you!
This year, if the white stuff doesn’t
arrive naturally, they will use a
snow machine to create a sledding
park on Sunset Elementary Hill.
When the right weather condi-
tions occur (a night consistently in
the mid-20s or below), the parks
department will cover the hill with
their own snow for sledding.
To find out when the weather
will oblige, visit the Parks & Rec
Facebook page or download their
app for an an-
nouncement.
And just like
a natural
snow day,
sledding is
always free.
