ARRESTS, CITATIONS
Thursday
•Boardman police arrested then released Carlo Mendoza
Guzman, no age or address provided, for driving under the
influence of intoxicants. The arrest stemmed from the driver of an
18-wheeler who reported a Mercedes crashed into him at Laurel
Lane and Northeast Columbia Avenue, Boardman.
Friday
•Hermiston police arrested Kyle L. Decker, 27, of Hermiston,
for felony possession of a federally controlled substance and on

•Morrow County Planning Director Carla McLane crashed a
county vehicle at a rolling road block.
Oregon State Police reported McLane, 56, of Umatilla,
was driving a county-owned Dodge Durango at 8:48 a.m. on
westbound Interstate 84 near milepost 166 where crews were
installing power cables across the road. A helicopter helping
install the power lines distracted McLane, according to state
police, and the Durango crashed into an unoccupied Acura
Integra on the shoulder.
The Acura was part of the roadway control with flashing
amber lights, state police reported, and the collision totaled both
vehicles. McLane was not injured.
State police cited McLane for careless driving, but the agency
also reported the contractor in charge of traffic control failed to
restrict westbound traffic, which could lead to more investigation.

Maple Crest Apartments, Boardman, for a woman with difficulty
