WEDNESDAY
12:23 p.m. - Pendleton police were
called to Pendleton High School, 1800 N.W.
Carden Ave., for a fight.
6:37 p.m. - A mother called Pendleton
police to report her daughter was assaulted
at Pendleton High School. It was unclear
whether the assault was related to the fight
earlier in the day.
8:44 p.m. - Pendleton police investigated
a report of shots fired in the vicinity of
Southwest Nye Avenue, but were unable to
locate a shooter.
THURSDAY
2:02 a.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s
Office, Boardman police and the Irrigon
ambulance were called to a residence on
Southwest Wyoming Avenue, Irrigon, after a
man called 911 to say he needed someone
to get there and “he is already going to be
judged.” The man refused medical transport.
2:33 a.m. - A woman walking along
Interstate 84 near Tower Road, Boardman,
resulted in a call to the Morrow County
Sheriff’s Office. The caller was concerned
the woman was not dressed for the weather.
When contacted by a sheriff’s deputy, the
woman said she was plenty warm and was
walking to the coast.
7:31 a.m. - The driver of a gray Nissan
Maxima was contacted by a Morrow County
sheriff’s deputy after a man called to report
the driver had tried to run him over with his
car in the vicinity of Southeast Utah Avenue
and Division Street, Irrigon.
7:45 a.m. - Milton-Freewater police took
a theft report for a pink and silver scooter
stolen from a residence in the 100 block of
Southeast 11th Avenue.
12:09 p.m. - A man on Northwest
McKennon Road, Pendleton, called
Pendleton police to report he had detained
a man who he caught breaking into his
vehicle. Police lodged the would-be thief at
the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton.
1:54 p.m. - A resident of Yakima Street,
Umatilla, reported her cell phone was stolen
from her house sometime Wednesday.
3:43 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s
Office received a report of stolen license
plates from a resident of North Highway
395, Hermiston.
3:45 p.m. - A fire on Highway 207-Spray,
south of Heppner, that was burning grass,
underbrush and several trees was referred
to the U.S. Forest Service John Day fire
crew.
5:02 p.m. - A vehicle was reported
stolen from Pendleton Mini Storage, 1561
Southgate Place.
6:24 p.m. - The Heppner Fire
Department was called to a brush fire at
Highway 207 and Willow Creek Road near
Heppner.
6:57 p.m. - Another Irrigon driver in a
small red pickup made a threatening move
on a pedestrian on Southeast Utah Avenue,
but this time Morrow County sheriff’s
deputies were unable to locate the driver.
8:35 p.m. - A Boardman man was
reported missing by his wife after he called
her several times sounding irrational and
saying he was lost. The wife said her
husband had recently had a change in his
medications. The Morrow County Sheriff’s
Office took a report.
11:54 p.m. - Patrons of The Rainbow
Cafe, 209 S. Main St., Pendleton, reported
a man was trying to start a fight but he was
gone when Pendleton police arrived.
