Michael Randolph ‘Mike’ Lott
Lake Oswego
August 18, 1961 - October 11, 2017
Michael
“Mike”
Randolph Lott, 56, of Lake
Oswego, Oregon, passed
away Wednesday, October
11, 2017, at his home.
A graveside service will
be held Friday, October 27
at 2:00 p.m. at Heppner
Masonic Cemetery, Heppner,
Oregon. A meal and cele-
bration of life will be held
at the Heppner Elks Lodge
following the graveside
service.
This is Mike Lott’s story:
Mike was a wonderful
man and will be missed
dearly. He had a passion for
classic cars, hot rods, and a
love for the game of golf. He
was a golf medalist on the
high school golf team and
enjoyed sharing his passion
of the game with his children.
Mike was also a gifted artist
and could sketch, design,
draw, and paint virtually
anything. He was extremely
creative and was very inge-
nuitive.
Mike’s story starts on
August 18, 1961, in Portland,
Oregon, the middle child
to Randolph E. Lott and
Bernice L. Lott. He grew
up in Heppner and had a
strong work ethic. He was
an aspiring business man
from a young age, strongly
influenced by his father. By
the age of 15 he started his
own lawn mowing business,
and cleaning business with
a high school friend. In
his late teens, a local auto
body owner, and Lott’s
Electric employee, sparked
Mike’s interest in fast cars.
Unbeknownst to his parents,
Mike built a motor for his
’67 Camaro in the basement
of their home. By golly, was
Randy surprised!
After graduating from
Heppner High School, Mike
attended Blue Mountain
Community College. While
attending college, Mike
had an auto repair hobby
in Lexington, which soon
developed into a successful
auto body repair business,
Lexington Auto Body. He
was the owner-operator of
Lexington Auto Body until
1987.
He married Shelly Biddle,
and moved to Pendleton
where he was employed at
Pendleton Auto Body, and
taught auto repair night
classes at Blue Mountain
Community College. In
1987, their son Lance was
born; three years later in
1990, their daughter Jenessa
joined the family. He was a
devoted father who supported
his children in their activities.
Mike eventually expanded
his career path and was
owner of Property Damage
Appraisers in Pendleton.
He later moved to Portland
and was the quality control
production manager at Leif’s
Auto Collision Repair.
Mike is survived by his
son Lance Lott of Pendleton,
daughter Jenessa Lott of
Bend, mother Bernice L. Lott
and a sister Patti Pappas both
of Heppner. He was preceded
in death by his dad Randy
Lott, and a brother Don Lott.
Memorial contributions
may be made to the Willow
Creek Country Club, P.O.
Box 64, Heppner, OR 97836.

Susana Arroyo, 28, of
Pendleton passed away
on October 13, 2017,
surrounded by her loving
family.
Susie was born on August
10, 1989, to Mario and
Maria (Quezada) Arroyo
in Pendleton, Oregon. She
leaves behind a
legacy of positivity,
determination,
and an overall zest
for life. Never
taking “no” for
an answer began
at a very young
age for Susie.
Her
diagnosis
with
Muscular
Dystrophy at 5
years old didn’t Arroyo
stop her from
attending Harry Jr. Academy,
graduating in 2008, then
BMCC and eventually
receiving her bachelor’s
degree in elementary educa-
tion and multidisciplinary
studies form Eastern Oregon
University in 2016.
You would always see a
bright-eyed smile on Susie’s
face. She enjoyed playing
the piano, listening to music
and cheering on her Seattle
Seahawks. A for sure high-
light was any time she was
able to spend with children,
especially her nephews.
She was passionate about
staying positive about her
condition and was always
researching cures and trials
– even making a trip to
Washington, D.C., to speak
on it. She was a constant
advocate and inspiration and
stayed highly involved in
the local community along
with national platforms. She
served as a mentor to young
children and teens, secretary
for Clearview Mediation
and Disability Resource
Center, PPMD’s
Adult
Advisory
Committee,
and
an active member
the
Seventh-day
Adventist Church.
An
East
Oregonian article
published
in
August about her
battle to try out
new medications is
a testament of her
dedication to prog-
ress for herself and others’
suffering.
She is preceded in death
by her grandmother, Zenaida
Arroyo. She is survived by
her parents; grandparents
Mateo and Amelia Quezada
and Nazario Arroyo; brother
Mario Jr. (Steffane) Arroyo;
nephews Maddux and
Maverick Arroyo; multiple
aunts and uncles and cousins;
and many “adopted” nieces
and nephews.
A visitation will be held
on Saturday, October 21,
2017, from 2-6 p.m. at Burns
Mortuary of Pendleton.

once they are established.)
