PENDLETON — 4-H and FFA
members will display their animal
husbandry skills at this year’s Pend-
leton Junior Livestock Show, Sept.
22-23, at the Round-Up Pavilion.
Beef, swine and sheep that were
weighed in August, will be shown
and put up for auc on, follow-
ing the judging and awards. Final
weigh-in is from 4 to 8 p.m. on Fri-
day, Sept. 22 and the show begins
at 8 a.m. on Saturday. Come down

your pooch the Pendleton Aqua c
Center on Wednesday, Sept. 6 from
5 to 7 p.m. for the annual Doggie
Dip Day. This year, by proclaima-
on, the event has been named
in honor of 4-H leaders Julie Wun-
derlich and Evelyn Larsen. The cost
is $3 per dog, leashes are required,
and dogs only are allowed in the
pool, which will be unchlorinated
