September 29, 1940 - July 18, 2017 Pendleton March 18, 1941 - July 20, 2017 Hermiston May 1, 1933 - July 22, 2017 Judi Carlisle, 76, of San Diego, California, passed away on Tuesday, July 18 in Poway, California, of compli- cations due to brain cancer. Born September 29, 1940, in Pend- leton, Oregon, she was the second daughter of Ardythe Coffey and Eldon Thompson. “Mothers hold their children’s hands for just a little while ... their hearts forever.” She is survived Carlisle by her husband, Robert Carlisle; two daugh- ters, Sheryl Grospitch and her husband Rick of Cleveland, Ohio, and Shannon Leistiko and her husband Tim Lodahl of Seattle, Washington; two sisters, Tessa Williams of Baker, Oregon, and Dixie Newman and husband Vern of Caldwell, Idaho; and two grandchildren, Jacob and Riley. April 2, 1958 - July 7, 2017 Charles “Loyd” Wohlcke, 59, of Libby, Montana, passed away July 7, 2017, at Kalispell Regional Hospital. He was born April 2, 1958, in Pend- leton, Oregon, to Charles and Larene Wohlcke. He was raised there, graduating from Pendleton High School in 1976 and marrying Debra Rae Donald in 1985. They were married for 24 years. Loyd cooked Wohlcke Wednesday nights at Libby Baptist Church and at International Messengers. He enjoyed his morning workout and coffee with friends at Montana Athletic Club. His hobbies and inter- ests included fishing, cooking, music, movies and especially his grandchildren, with whom he loved spending time. Loyd is survived by wife Debra Rae Donald; son Rick Lundell of Coos Bay, Oregon, and son-in-law Edward Hayden of Libby; daughter Raelene Hayden of Libby; brother Van Wohlcke of Herm- iston, Oregon; sister Debbie Mulder of Pilot Rock, Oregon; grandsons Kristopher Lundell, Raiven Loyd Mathiason and Fox William Hayden; and granddaughter Aspen Rae Hayden. Loyd was preceded in death by his brother, Rod Wohlcke. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, August 5 at the Pendleton Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1401 S.W. Goodwin Place. Sharon Kay Parker, 76, passed away in the loving company of her family on July 20, 2017, in Pendleton. A funeral service will be held at Burns Mortuary of Pendleton on July 27, 2017, at 1 p.m. with a burial to follow at Olney Cemetery. Sharon was born on March 18, 1941, in a farm house southwest of Guide Rock, Nebraska, to Dale and Mary (Smith- Parker hart) Arrants. She grew up with four siblings and the family resided in various towns in Nebraska and Texas, and then settled in Oregon in 1959, the year that she graduated from Pendleton High School. On July 19, 1959, she married her love Ronald Duane Parker. They enjoyed 54 years together before his passing in 2014. Together the couple was blessed with two children and were eventually blessed with three grandchildren, who all fondly referred to Sharon as “Grandma Sugar.” She loved flowers, collecting cookbooks, trying out recipes from the books and most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchil- dren. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother William Arrants. She is survived by her siblings Nancy Gingerich of North Platte, Neb., James (Linda) Arrants of Lindale, Texas, and Patricia (Michael) Hohenfield of Bladen, Neb.; children Cynthia (Steve) Camp of Pendleton and Steven Parker of Pendelton; grand- children Amber (Alex) Corona of Portland, Tyson Clark of Walla Walla and Miranda Clark of Port- land; great-grandchildren Kennedy Clark, Ebin Clark, Sylvia Corona, Evalyn Corona and Rose Corona; and multiple nieces and nephews.
