Hermiston, reported a male made threats with a machete.
9:13 a.m. - A customer at the Pilot Travel Center, 2115 S.
Highway 395, Stanfield, called for police to deal with a verbal
domestic disturbance.
9:29 a.m. - Hermiston police took a report from a woman
who said someone entered her unlocked vehicle during the
night on Northwest 11th Street and stole a wheel off the car
and the stereo system.
9:59 a.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a
report of vandalism and graffiti at the skate park in Irrigon.
10:25 a.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office took a
report of theft at Adams and Myrick roads, Pendleton.
12:49 p.m. - A caller at the Athena Spit-N-Shine Car &
Truck Wash, Athena, made a report about stalking.
2:28 p.m. - A wildfire started on Castle Rock Farms
southwest of Threemile Canyon Farms, Boardman. Several

5:16 p.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a
report about a man impersonating an officer. The caller said he
was at Heppner Family Foods, Heppner, and saw a man show
someone a police badge and claim he was a law enforcement
officer. The problem, the caller said, is the man with the badge
is a sex offender and not a cop.
ARRESTS, CITATIONS
•Milton-Freewater police arrested Robert Pierre Bru, 59,
of Milton-Freewater, for the domestic violence charge of
fourth-degree assault.
•Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Bo Xavier
Brause, 26, of Hermiston, for possession of heroin and
frequenting a place where drugs are used.
•Oregon State Police arrested a Portland woman for driving
drunk and more after she crashed near Pendleton.
Police received a complaint about a driver heading east on
Interstate 84 who crashed a little before 6 p.m. near milepost
220. State police reported a trooper arrived and found the
driver, Vanesah Alisia Graves, 25, was “visibly impaired” and
she refused to take a sobriety test.
The trooper arrested Graves for driving under the influence
of intoxicants (alcohol), reckless driving and reckless endan-
gering. He took her to the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton,
where she provided a breath sample that showed her
blood-alcohol level was .16 percent, or twice the .08 percent
legal limit.
•Hermiston police at 11:55 p.m. responded to the 11th
Street Market, 425 N.W. 11th St., on a report of a man who
was shot and not responding. The call came while officers
were at the parking lot of Denny’s, 2265 S. Highway 395, on
the opposite side of town, arresting Jeova Gerardo Guzman,
27, of Hermiston, on multiple warrants.
Hermiston Police Chief Jason Edmiston said officers
determined the call about the shooting was a ruse for police to
ignore Guzman.
Edmiston said that did not happen and Guzman was
instead transported to the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton.
