Wade on in, tiny tots!
PENDLETON — Splish, splash!
The Til Taylor Wading Pool opens
on Monday, June 19. Toddlers and
parents can enjoy relaxing water
play in this free pool for kids 8 and
under. No lifeguard is on duty, so all
children must be supervised. The
wading pool is open noon to 4 p.m.
and 6 to 8 p.m., Mon. through Sat.,
until Aug. 26.
While you’re thinking about it,
sign up for an Early Bird Pool Pass
before the main pool opens on
June 16 this year. Passes available
for family, adults, youth and more.

Open air markets pop
up everywhere
UMATILLA COUNTY — Fresh
fruit and vegetables for your family
are on the way, straight from the
farmer! You’ll find open air markets
in several spots around the county.
The Echo Open Air Market kicks
off June 17 and runs every third
Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. in George
Park. The Hermiston Farmers Mar-
ket also starts June 17 and con-
tinues each Saturday, from 9 a.m.
to 1 p.m. at NE Second and Main
streets.
Pendleton Farmer’s Market is
already up and running along Main
Street each Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.

You’ll also find baked goods, crafts,
live music and food vendors. And
don’t miss the weiner dog races on
June 23, supporting the Children’s
Museum of Eastern Oregon.
