Almost an art show in and of itself, the Pendleton Cattle Barons
Bit, Spur and Engraving Show exhibits literally the best work in the
world. With entries from all over North America, the show displays
amazing working bits, spurs, knives, and nearly anything the imag-
ination can conjure. Th e show is open Friday noon to 7 p.m. and
Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Artists from around the country will bring their best creations that
capture the Western way of life for their chance to win Best In Show.
We’ll be exhibiting this completely unique collection of fi nery during
the Cattle Baron’s Weekend for everyone to enjoy. Many pieces will
be for sale. Take a piece of authentic cowboy gear home with you.
Featured artists in the show have included:
•Shawn Didyoung, 2013 Engraver of the Year from Laurel, Montana
•Ernie Marsh, Past President of the Traditional Cowboy Artists
