Equipment Mechanic. This employee
repairs and modifies all types of
equipment used by highway maintenance
crews and construction.
Must have a good driving record and medical card. Must have a
valid Oregon Class A Commercial Drivers license with endorsements
at time of employment or able to acquire within six months of
employment to operate all County Road Department vehicles.
Salary range is $48,113-$57,406 / DOE plus generous benefits. This
position is covered by a collective bargaining unit.

The Port of Morrow is looking for a Workforce Development/Training
Coordinator to serve as a liaison between Port of Morrow industries
and educators including: Blue Mountain Community College,
Eastern Oregon University, Intermountain Education Service District,
and Morrow County and Ione School Districts. The main purpose of
the Workforce Development Coordinator is to connect Morrow
County employers and residents with programs and services,
especially those opportunities leading to employment in local
industry, acting as a clearing house for workforce training and
development programs.
Minimum Requirements
1 Bachelorʼs Degree in business, human resources, public policy,
urban studies, or a related field.
2 Two years of professional experience in workforce development,
training, community outreach or public relations.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be
considered.
