Washington.
The mission of the
nonprofit organization is to
preserve wildlife and the
habitats in which they live.
Services include wildlife
rehabilitation and public
education. Its primary
center is located five miles
south of Pendleton at 71046

An adventure intertwining char-
acters from Cinderella, Jack in the
Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood and
Rapunzel are featured in an upcoming
production at Riverside Jr/Sr High
School.
The students will present “Into the
Woods,” which is said to be a musical
with a modern twist on Brothers
Grimm fairy tales. The family-friendly
event will be staged March 16-18 at
6:30 p.m. in the R. L. Bateman Audi-
torium at Riverside High School, 210
N.E. Boardman Ave., Boardman. The
cost is $5 per person. Tickets will be
sold at the door or can be purchased in
advance from cast members.
A Broadway production, which
Disney picked up for a film adaptation
several years ago, the story follows the
Baker’s wife, who has a desire for a
child. They set off on a scavenger hunt
to satisfy instructions set by the Witch
to create a spell to make that happen.
Wishes come true by the end of Act
I — however, things start to fall apart
