Joseph is putting on
his Dreamcoat
PENDLETON — College Commu-
nity Theatre is staging the family-
friendly musical “Joseph and the
Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”
for two weekends, beginning Friday,
Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m. (Sunday ma -
nees at 2 p.m.) in the Bob Clapp
Theatre on the Blue Mountain
Community College campus. This
energe c farce, based on the bibli-
cal story of Jacob and his 12 sons,
blends a range of musical styles,
from calypso to western ballad.

New parents group
HERMISTON — The new Circle of
Parents Support Group has started
mee ng from 5:30 to 7 p.m. each
second and fourth Thursday at the
Hermiston Center for School Readi-
ness (Building “C”), 502 W. Stan-
dard Ave. The group provides an-
swers to paren ng challenges and
ques ons, and a place to connect
with other parents. Mee ngs begin
with a free meal for parents and
kids; free child care is provided. To
