9:39 p.m. - A resident of
Walla Walla River Road called
the Umatilla County Sheriff’s
Office to report his wife called
him and told him their house
had been burglarized.
FRIDAY
1:29 a.m. - Pendleton police
were called to the Pendleton
Animal Welfare Shelter, 517
S.E. Third St., when a caller
reported a dog tied up to the
shelter’s bicycle rack. The dog
was gone when police arrived.
3:14 a.m. - The Umatilla
County Sheriff’s Office was
called after a man was
assaulted on Lee Street
Grade and Campbell Road,
Pendleton. The man’s truck
was also stolen by his attackers.

arrested at Irrigon Jr./Sr. High
School by the Morrow County
Sheriff’s Office on charges

second-degree
rape,
first-degree sexual abuse,

High School. Officers could not
find the knife.
2:52 p.m. - A resident of
Southwest Goodwin Place,
Pendleton, reported his car
was broken into.
3:09 p.m. - A resident of
North Third Street, Athena,
reported credit card fraud to the
Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office.
3:24 p.m. - A resident
of Southeast Utah Avenue,
Irrigon, reported a red Isuzu
Rodeo blew a stop sign while
driving toward Division. The
caller said the driver of the
Rodeo “has been known to get
airborne off the little hill there.” A
Morrow County sheriff’s deputy
contacted the caller.
3:57 p.m. - A second
dog bite was reported to the

Road, Hermiston.
