PAWS
PENDLETON — People
can enjoy a meal and
help raise money for the
Pendleton Animal Welfare
Shelter during a year-long
promotion between the
nonprofit organization and
local restaurants.
During the Third
Thursday for PAWS, diners
are encouraged to eat at
the designated restaurant.
To be eligible for the
PENDLETON — A
hearty meal featuring a
variety of breakfast fare will
be served to order at White
Eagle Grange.
The all-you-can-eat
breakfast is Saturday from
6-10 a.m. at 43828 White
Eagle Road, located off
Highway 395 between
Pendleton and Pilot Rock.
The suggested donation is
$7 for ages 8-and-older, $4
for ages 5-7 and free for
those younger. Those who
bring two nonperishable
food items will receive $1
off. The donations will be
distributed through local
food banks.

The Mother and Son Dance is
Saturday from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the
Pendleton Recreation Center, 510 S.W.
Dorion Ave.; and the Daddy Daughter
Dance is Saturday, Feb. 4 from 6-9
p.m. at the Pendleton Convention
Center, 1601 Westgate.
Open to boys in kindergarten
through fifth grade, the semi-formal
event offers a chance for moms and
their sons to dance the night away
while making memories. Tickets are
$12.50 each and the fee includes light
snacks and a photo. Capacity for the
dance is 200 people.
In its 13th year, the popular Daddy
Daughter Dance typically sells out
early. With upwards of 650 people
attending, the semi-formal event has
become a tradition with many area
families. Girls get gussied up and
spend a special evening dancing with
their fathers and laughing with their

Library’s Photography Club.
To celebrate, some of the
best photos from the year are
