ATHENA — Three TigerScots
scored in double digits and Bailey
Hillmick converted on two crucial
trips to the free-throw line late in the
game as Weston-McEwen held off
Imbler for a 53-47 non-league win on
Thursday night.
The TigerScots also swiped 18
steals as a team and were strong in
their half-court defense for what coach
Eric Jensen called their “best start-to-
fi nish game of the season.”
It was a rematch just fi ve days in
the making after Imbler beat Weston-
McEwen by 10 at their place last
week.

when the TigerScots needed big stops
and points in the fourth quarter it was

the call.
She scored four of her six points in
the fi nal frame and was a disruptive
force on defense.
“We really needed her to have a
breakout game and step up her game,
and she did,” Jensen said. “She was
just really solid stopping dribble-drive
penetration all over the place. It was
noticeable what she did, totally taking
them out of their offense at the top of
the key.”
Then with Imbler (2-4) trying to
get within striking distance in the last
minute and a half, Hillmick went 4 for
4 at the free throw line to seal the win.
She fi nished with fi ve points.
Lexee Robertson led Imbler
with 13 points, Caysie McGinness
added 11 and Kailey Smith had 10.
The TigerScots out-rebounded the
Panthers 31-29.

UFC’s ‘Cyborg’ fails doping test

potentially violated the mixed martial arts
promotion’s anti-doping policy.
The UFC announced Justino’s apparent
failure of a doping test Thursday.
The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency,

out-of-competition test Dec.

CANTON, Ohio (AP) — A landmark
stat for the Pro Football Hall of Fame its 10
millionth visitor.
The threshold was crossed
Thursday when 15-year-old
Tyler Susee of Salem,
Oregon, entered the doors
and was greeted by the Hall’s
staff.
He received an assortment of gifts,
including lodging and tickets to the 2017
Hall of Fame Game. The teenager called it
“awesome.”
He and his parents are heading to
Pittsburgh to watch the Christmas Day game
between the Steelers and Baltimore Ravens.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame opened
in 1963. Ten years later, it reached its 1
millionth visitor.
