Stop in for a fun, free Saturday morning
art project with one of our creative and
enthusiastic staff members. Pop your head
in or stay for the whole session! Kids under
8 must be accompanied by a parent or
older pal to help them with the project.

ART STUDIO (AGES 0-12)

Kids of all ages now have full access
to the PCA’s art materials and studio
space! Inspire your kids to explore art
independently through open-ended
drawing, painting and collage, or to try out
a new technique by working along with the
group on a facilitated project (we’ll have a
fun, optional project going on each time).
The emphasis is on creative learning and
play through art making, and kids are
welcome to drop in for 15 minutes, or stay
for the full session as they like. Parents can
participate too! (Children 8 and under must
have a parent present.)

Each class we’ll focus on a different artist,
taking inspiration from their work to create
a hands-on, experience-focused art project.
The mommy-and-me-style format allows
kids and parents to learn about art together
while providing a fun opportunity to spend
time with your tot as well as other families.
This class is offered to 0-4 year olds
accompanied by an adult.

EXPLORING CLAY (AGES 5-12)

An active and engaging class for a wide
range of ages! We’ll learn a variety of
techniques: rolling out slabs, making long
coils, stamping in texture, and glazing in
bright colors. New and returning students
will find new projects to explore each
session. Please wear clothes that can get
messy.

YOUTH SEWING: SESSION 1
(AGES 7-12)

From threading a needle to running the
sewing machine, this class will introduce
kids to sewing the fun way. Kids will start
out with practice sewing lines and turning
corners in a series of sewing machine
drills, and then they’ll build on those skills
to create a cool one of a kind tote bag. No
experience necessary and we’ll use the
PCA’s sewing machines and fabrics, so no
supplies necessary either. Class limited to 6
participants.
