MONDAY NOVEMBER 28:
Partridge in
a Pear Tree
TUESDAY NOVEMBER 29:
Turtle
Doves
WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 30:
French
Hens
Today calls for a partridge for
your pear tree. Partridges are
tough catches, you see. The
bird flew the coop, leaving
nothing behind but some
sweet Bartlett pears, the very
best kind. Please bring non-
perishable food items today.
There might be turtle doves
coming your way; but we
want to avoid hands as
cold as clay. So instead of
searching for turtle doves, we
ask that you bring in some
gloves (or mittens) today.
Hens are chickens if they are
French or not! What we need
is chicken soup to heat in the
pot or gas to go and shop.
Please bring gift cards for
food or gas today!
THURSDAY DECEMBER 1:
FRIDAY DECEMBER 2:
SATURDAY DECEMBER 3:
Calling
Birds
Golden
Rings
Geese a
Laying
Four calling birds speak
highly of you; you’re kind and
thoughtful, generous too.
They sent us a letter, which
said, “Children and seniors
think more books would be
better”. Please bring in books
for all ages today.
Although golden rings are
nice, we would like to help the
kids at iCan Bike. To refurbish
a cycle, it takes many things,
so please won’t you help us
give them some wings. Please
bring in items to refurbish
bicycles and other biking
supplies.
Six geese a laying were an
interesting sight, till one of
them squawked and they all
took to flight. When they left
their nest, it was in the dark of
night. So please help us with
their terrible plight. Please
bring in household and
personal care items today.
SUNDAY DECEMBER 4:
MONDAY DECEMBER 5:
TUESDAY DECEMBER 6:
Swans a
Swimming
Maids a
Milking
Ladies
Dancing
Remember no speaking or
you’ll spoil the fun. We’re
almost there, we’re halfway
done. Finding swans in
December sure gave us a
riddle, so we looked for
something simple: Little bums
can be breezy, but bringing
diapers is just so easy.
Please bring in packages
of diapers today.
On the eighth day of giving,
we are still busy as bees. Eight
maids a milking, nowhere
did we see…But there at the
Hermiston Warming Station
we spy a few needs. Snacks,
blankets, and hats, for these
items they surely would be
pleased. Please bring in
non-perishables, portable
food, blankets, and other
warm items.
Nine kiddos dancing, they
put on quite a show. Their
feet got so tired, so wouldn’t
you know. We are requesting
some socks or shoes to help
comfort their little toes.
WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 7:
THURSDAY DECEMBER 8:
FRIDAY DECEMBER 9:
Lords a
Leaping
Ten lords a leaping would be
an awesome gift, but they got
stuck jumping over a big ole
snowdrift. But, we do have
some pets in need, at the
local humane society. Please
bring pet food or supplies
today.
Pipers
Piping
Eleven pipers piping outside
would be cold, to leave them
on the doorstep would be
too bold. We are hoping you
could be an angel for two
more days, we’d just love
to sing your praise. Please
bring clothes and coats for
individuals of all ages.
Bring your donations to Good Shepherd Health Care System and
place them under the Christmas Tree in the main lobby of the hospital
or the Good Shepherd Medical Group lobby. You can bring any of the
requested items on any of the above days, we’re just excited to have
you give. Thank you for giving back to our community!

Drummers
Drumming
The final day of giving has
arrived, and on our ending night
one dozen drummers would be
a splendid sight. But drummers
alas, are not what we require,
instead we do plead - Durable
Medical Equipment is what
we need: crutches, walkers,
or a noble steed.
