The gtanfield Planning Commission will hold a public hearing
regarding a proposal to amend the gtanfield Development
Code and Transportation gystem Plan. The change would
affect properties within the Cityʼs Downtown District. The
following statement is required by state law; the City of
gtanfield and Umatilla County have not made a determination
regarding how these amendments would affect the value of
your property: “Adoption of these amendments may affect the
permissible uses of your property, and other properties in the
affected zone, and may change the value of your property.”
The amendments being considered are available for inspection
at gtanfield City Hall located at 160 gouth Main gtreet,
gtanfield, OR 97875. Copies of the proposed amendments are
available for purchase at a cost of $0.10 per page.
Any interested person may submit written testimony prior to or
at the public hearing. Comments may be sent to gtanfield City
Hall. Comments received by November 4, 2016 will be included
in Planning Commission packets sent to the Planning
Commissioners in advance of the November 15th meeting.
The public hearing will be conducted in a manner that permits
testimony from those interested. The Planning Commission
action will be in the form of a recommendation to the City
Council, who will conduct a subsequent hearing on this issue
where additional testimony will be accepted.
